1. Who you're contracting with
These Terms govern your use of the services provided by Roheem Rasak, a sole proprietor trading as CareerAscend ("CareerAscend", "we", "us"). By placing an order or using the site, you agree to these Terms.
2. Engagement
By submitting payment for any CareerAscend package, you enter into a service agreement defined by the package scope and turnaround communicated on the pricing page or in your custom quote. You confirm you are of legal age and have authority to enter this agreement.
3. Payments
Prices are listed in US Dollars on the pricing page. Payments are processed securely by Flutterwave Payment Technology Solutions Limited ("Flutterwave"), a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria. Flutterwave supports cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), bank transfer, USSD, mobile money, and other regional payment methods, with automatic local-currency conversion at checkout where supported.
By completing checkout you authorise Flutterwave to charge your selected payment method for the amount displayed. Receipts and refund handling are managed through Flutterwave and CareerAscend in accordance with our Refund Policy. For questions about a transaction, contact us at hello@careerascendpro.com.
4. Scope & deliverables
Each package lists exactly what's included. Work outside that scope (additional resumes, extra revisions beyond the included rounds, expedited timelines) is quoted separately before any work begins.
5. Client cooperation
Delivery timelines start once you've returned the intake questionnaire and supporting materials. Delayed responses from your side may extend the published turnaround proportionally. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account details up to date.
6. Revisions
Each package includes a defined number of revision rounds within 14 days of first delivery. Revisions requested after that window or beyond the included rounds are billed at our standard hourly rate.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service, including: any unlawful activity, fraud, spam, infringing third-party intellectual property, submitting another person's information without authorisation, attempting to interfere with the security or integrity of the site (malware, probing, scraping), or reselling or redistributing our deliverables as templates or services.
8. Intellectual property
The site, our methodologies, frameworks, and templates remain our property. Upon final payment, you receive full ownership of the final deliverables produced for you. CareerAscend retains the right to display anonymized samples of the work for portfolio purposes unless you opt out in writing.
9. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the service for: material breach of these Terms, non-payment, suspected fraud or security risk, or repeated or serious violations of the acceptable use clause. Where reasonable, we will give you notice and an opportunity to cure.
10. Outcomes & warranties
While our methods are proven, we cannot guarantee specific employment outcomes. Hiring decisions depend on many factors outside the control of any career service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
11. Liability
CareerAscend's total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the engagement giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where it cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation, then mediation, before any other action.
